Mazza and I are discussing what to bid on.
I think we should keep it to 5 or less, bec of the selt issue.
Also I think we should have a very small demo game just to hash things out as far as procedure. I don't know about everyone else but I would hate to ruin my game bec I misunderstood the mechanics of the game.

Ok, I've managed to create an SSD, but I can't figure out how to upload it. Any of you got any ideas?

Well, if Terry is willing to spend the time to add the Selt SSDs to the client, then I would say the problems with the Selts aren't large enough to keep him from playing them. It is the Tholians that have major client issues. Otherwise I would agree with limiting to five empires. Terry?
Well, I know that you have to get the SSD approved to get it uploaded by Paul. For your purposes against an opponent you can just email the file to them, and then select it from User Defined SSDs

Ok well I am sorry to hear that.
So then we currently have (to my knowledge) five empires and no Selts. Send in those bids folks!

BTW, are SylvrDragon and Sweeper going to team up? Sweeper was saying you guys might. I only ask because I can start working on the map once I know if we have 4 or 5 empires (actually if it is 4 then we already have our map)

That's the idea. Sorry, for the delay. I got busy in the real world(freaking taxes among other things), and haven't bee answering SD's PMs, much to SD's annoyance. We're reviewing our bid choices right now and should have it sent to you soon.

No rush, I totally understand real world issues.
Ok cool, if we have four empires then we can use the standard map that comes with the rules set. Feel free to take a look and make suggestions if anyone would like a change to something. Unless anyone objects I will just randomly assign quadrants when we get to that point.
I have a map overlay built for it, so barring any changes the map should be good to go.
