"Well, they're not exactly *my*... uh... rent-a-cops (as you say), they were hired by the Federation authorities here to protect everyone in the business district... including my rivals at Cygnosis Limited."

Muankaal seems to show a bit of distaste at having to use the slang phrase "rent-a-cop."

"But... you say the person who has the artefact has taken it into the Cygnosis building...? Are you absolutely sure about that...?"

You notice that Muankaal continues to look out of his window... and... it's clear now that he's actually been looking at the Cygnosis building all along! (Could have been a coincidence....)

He says,"I am sure. I fought with the slippery snake and she got away. Before she got out of range we shot a tracking device onto to her skimmer and traced it to that building. We have about a dozen Native warriors itching for some payback and we need some assistance in getting into the Cygnosis building...perhaps blueprints to the building or some other useful piece of info to assist us?" He looks a little annoyed,"Oh by the way can you get those security slubs to release my friend? They have him detained and I am going to need him on this mission."

Muankaal speaks briefly into a comm.

He continues to look out the window... and then speaks to no one in particular:

"It is unfortunate that I can't help you. If the Federation authorities were to determine that I assisted you in breaking into Cygnosis Limited... why... who knows what kind of complications that could bring to my humble business operation...?! However... it would be a shame if someone were to break into my offices, take some experimental electronic maps, then steal one of my skimmers from the bay on floor 47.... I declare, that would be a shame...."

Marcus grins,"Indeed it would be a travesity!" He assumes his call was to release Captain Jack. He will say to Muankaal,"Perhaps you should invite my friend to your office he is an expert in uhhh...detecting electronic intrusions..."

[Based upon Muankaal's silence, you realize Captain Jack's fate is in your hands-- probably something to do with plausible deniability....]

Captain Jack is patiently waiting for something to happen with the guards... "So guys, do I at least get my one subspace call?"

Marcus says,"Thanks for your time..." and he leaves the office and calls Skexis on the comm,"I need you to come to the business sector,"Jack is being detained I am going to need backup."

"Sure thing! Do I need to get a little rough with the guards?"

"Actually I need you and the nomads to create a distraction near the check in area. One big enough to draw alot of attention but allows you and the others to egress....I'll need you to help in the final stage. I can't believe I am saying this.....don't kill anyone."

[The business district is about the size of downtown Greensboro-- ie, only a few small sky scrapers and some smaller buildings, restaurants, and shops. The inner district is walled off. There is only one public entrance. There are five guards there-- two "standing guard", two doing the pat-downs, and one managing them. It gets progressively more slummy the further you get from the business district. It is mostly foot traffic... with the hoity toity folk using skimmers to bypass the riff raff.]

[Captain Jack is off to the right of the entrance while the other two guards continue to check people out. There is a computer terminal in the wall that the manager guy messes with. It's not too different from a not-very-busy TSA airport screening sort of thing.]

[See if Marcus has his phaser I assume he is on the other side of the check point. What obstacles doe she have to get by in order to make a run thorughthe entrance? Perhaps a crude map of the layout?]
