I think there's a bug with a phaser(s) on the Lyran NCA that's causing one or more to cost 2 energy to fire instead of 1. We were able to work around this.

Good game m1a1dat.

The missed tractor opportunity you had on the HDD could've changed things up quite a bit in the middle of the game like you were saying. She had no energy to negate the tractor if you had. I dodged a big bullet there.

Thanks for putting up with my UI awkwardness with the client. I promise, I won't mess up the plasma launch facing again

Hard to say how the map size factored in, about half of it got used.

The Klingons redeemed themselves against the venerable lyran task force under command of cornelius0791.

Lyran CW - destroyed
Lyran CC - crippled

D5W 1 - crippled
D5W 2 - undamaged

M1A1DAT lost to Storyelf. The Lyrans, unable to stay outside of range 5 or inside of range 1, where carronaded to death. The Orion movement initiative was decisive in this case.

My Fed's conceded to Pat's Tholians after three turns of play. He pretty much had me checkmated at that point.

I was only able to take down two shields on his NCA and one shield on one of his PCs. My NCL was all but dead and he was going to be able to catch my NCA on its photon pre-load turn at a very close distance.

Regardless, it was a fun match that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Mana's Kzintis conceded in Turn 4 to my Federation ships.

Kzinti CL #1: Disabled
Kzinti CL #2: 30+ internals, all hitting the weapon row
Kzinti DW: Minor internal damage

Federation DDL Leonidas: Serious internals but not crippled, but also had no way to stop up to 4 drones from impacting and wrecking the ship if launched by the DW. Crew happy to see Kitties break off.

Federation BCF Bismarck: One down shield with token internals. Went phaser boat in turn 4, so it would have taken a while to get the photons back. I was worried about getting hit again through the down shield so the crew was also happy to see the kitties break off.

It was a great game, and I was trying to figure out how to get my BCF out of the melee undamaged so I too was happy to see the kitties break off.
