Here's a couple of interesting shots involving the freighters:

The Orions are getting antsy...
Here Comes Trouble!
Trouble

Trouble times TWO!!
HEY! That's my freighter!

Wasn't there a Briefing one scenario about that?

I'm not sure if it was in Breifing #1 or not, but there was a SFB scenario that we played many times called "HEY! That's my frieghter!" and it was the inspiration for this shot.

IIRC, it has been converted to Fed Comm, also.

Convoy missions are some of the most challenging in any tabletop (or video) game--and if they're written right (not often the case), they can be fun for both sides.

Nice to see that you've got the minis all done up for that now.

Posed scenes are great too (unlike mine which are just "line 'em up").

these were easy.
10.2 Mega Pixel Kodak Camera, outdoor lighting (photo taken on shaded side of house at about 6:00 p.m.)

Then, resample the pic to reduce it to 100 dpi and 640x480 and voila'

I've been busy too:

Federation Strike Cruiser U.S.S. Prometheus (heavily modified CS mini)
(finally finished, after nearly a year of waiting... even though I went back and added a few more window decals after these photos were taken...)

Prometheus, in-company with DDF U.S.S. Two Moons and APT U.S.S. Cedar Falls (The only two other 'finished' miniatures I have).

Now, if I could just get to sleep, things would be rosy.

Will, those are looking sharp.

I'm going to try to get started painting again now that Origins has passed, although I do have an assignment from SVC to work on a couple of new miniatures so those will have to be squeezed in.

Thanks Tony. I have a Fed CA (the Republic) just about finished. Then I'll keep chewing through the batch that are close to done. After that, back to base-coating Klingons while I still have good weather.
