Base drone control

This has come out of another thread, but it is rumoured that bases can control 12 seeking weapons.
Is this true, and, if so, where is the rule stating it, please?

I think I'm the one who started that rumor. Now that I've looked at everything, I can't find anything that says it's true. It may just be an old SFB'ism hanging on in my mind. Personnally, I don't see why all bases would not be able to control 12 seeking weapons. They are much more substantial than ships are and some of them control 12.
Hopefully MJWest will weigh in.

Thanks, I was wondering that myself when I saw the other day that some of the starbases have 12 drone racks but it doesn't say on the card that they can (it normally does say if they can control 12 but in this case obviously it's in the ship description rather than on the card). Well, that's cleared that one up.
