Is the Romulan Border rulebook version 1.4?

Probably a silly question but...

I have a Romulan Border rulebook labeled First Edition, June 2506. There is a note inside that states,

"The rules in the rulebook in your hand are later than and supercede the KB v3 rulebook."

Does that mean this is a 1.4 rulebook? I assume so, but it is never labeled 1.4 anywhere in the book. If I combine this with the latest CRUL (currently 10/20/08) will I have the latest version of the rules?

It's version 4 of the rules. IIRC, that is the most up to date published rulebook. It is missing some sections, like Tholian Webs, Stingers, ESGs, and such that are included in other products (Tholian Attack, Distant Kingdoms, Orion Attack), but as far as the basic "this is how you play the game" that's as up to date as it gets.

Yes, the Romulan Border rulebook is equivalent to the Klingon Border Rev4 rulebook. (The rules are the same. The ships and scenarios are, of course, different.)

And, yes, with a RB or KBv4 rulebook plus the CRUL, you will have the up-to-date-rules through the Communique listed in the CRUL introduction.

(It is expected that the CRUL will be updated regularly, thus my vagueness in not referring to which Communique is currently listed.)

Thanks. I figured as much, but you can never assume anything in the Strafleet Universe. :D
