OK im still a little confused, I have bought Graduation now and so effectivley have Klingon Border. If you look at http://www.federationcommander.com/klingon_border.shtml it says that Squadron Boxes 1,2,3 have the minis in for one each for Klingon Border.

Border box one then matches the ships in Boosters 1,2,3.

Is this right or does Border box 1 do Klingon Border and the first 3 boosters?

Thanks again for your time and help.
Zero.

Hmmm...
Seems I may have been a bit confused myself.
The Basic, FC: Klingon Border boxed set comes with 16 ship cards
The Squadron Boxes (1,2, and 3) have 5 to 6 ships each and all three combined represent the 16 ship contents of the FC: KB box.

Boosters 1, 2, and 3 then add extra copies of the common ships.. 2x Fed CA, 2x Klingon D7, etc, and 1 or 2 Bonus ships per booster.

Border box 1 then represents the contents of these boosters, so you need Border box #1 and Sqaudron boxes 1, 2, and 3 to have a mini for every ship card in the FC:KB / Booster 1,2,3 combo; i.e., Squadron Box #1 has a Fed CA miniature... then Border box #1 has 2 more of them, for a total of 2, which equals the number of Federation Heavy Cruiser ship cards.
Or at least that's the way I read it from the web link you posted.

I'm sure Steve will be happy to chime in when h sees this post and provide the "official" answer.

Sorry for any earlier confusion... I've been buying my minis for SFB since they were first released and had a great number of them prior to the release of Federation Commander; and therefore, have not yet had the occasion to actually purchase any of the Squadron / Border boxes.

Cool that makes life easyer for me. I can buy the squadron boxes slowly as money is tight at the moment.

After talking with a friend looks like ill be using acrylic paints to start with. Hes told me ill probly need to varnish them after.

I have a local hobby shop that should stock everything that i need. My friend says they stock Tamya, Citadel and Humbrol and some cheap allternative he cant rememeebr.

Ill keep the board informed of my progress purchases and all.

Have fun all.

Post pictures when you have some painted. It's always great to see what people do.

One minor thing. Academy includes a gorn and romulan card (just so you can see the plasma rules) which are not in KlingonBorder. Those cards are from Romulan Border and no ship matching them is in Squadron 123 or Border 1.
