Hi all, just in the midst of ordering my paint and such and i thought about decals that i had seen. I had a look on that decal site and as most of you probably know he has them by border box and squad box so thats great for me.

However i had a look at the decal placement guides and there dosnt seem to be that many for the Federation.

Are they relativly simple to figure out where they go.

Also ive never ever used decals before can some one point me at a how too guide.

Thanks as allways
Zero.

Depending on your familiarity with SFU ships, they are not hard to figure out. It's fairly easy to use one placement guide to suss things out for a different ship (the available placement guides are HERE, btw).

As far as "how-to" guides, I'd recommend THIS thread here on the FedCom board. Also, there is a wealth of information HERE on the starshipmodeler.com board.

Following up on Will's comments:

Every set of decals I've received from Mark has come with a ship-specific placement guide... even the ships that aren't shown on the website. If you get a set and can't figure somehting out... feel free to as us about it. One of us may even have the correct placement guide that we could scan / email to you???

Good luck.

The pics are small, but I think I still see some flash between the nacelles on the Light Cruiser.

I never got any placement guides with my orders, but Tutton would provide them via email when I followed up and asked.
