What color green do people use for their Andromedans?
I was going to head over to the local hobby/hardware store to find some paint for them and wanted to get some opinions.

Ok... you asked for it...
My Andros are airbrushed with a base coat of Polly-S Southern Railroad green (don't ask just go with it) as I had a full bottle of this stuff left over from a locomotive I painted for Joe Butler.
They were then high-lighted by dry-brushing with CeramCoat Jubilee Green...
Next, comes a 10:1 or so wash of some left over Dark Angels green and magic wash...
Finally, comes one last - very light drybrushing with a 2:1 mix of Jubilee Green and CeramCoat Whicker White.
Once this is done, I then tackle the reds, greys, blacks, and golds... but that's another story.

I just slop on some Testors Medium Green myself --
Same stuff I use on my Russian Modern Micro Armor --

I would go for a traditional "kelly green" for the base color. Citadel's orc green (foundation style paint) is a little dark, but when you highlight it with drybrushing, it comes out nice.

Tony & SWO_Daddy, great paint jobs. I do prefer the green of SWO_Daddy's version though.
