This has probably been covered elsewhere, but I'm at a loss for time to search through all the threads to find it.

If an Orion LR elects to have Ph-1s as its 3 optional weapons and if Torpedo or Drone damage come up in the DAC, do the Ph-1s in those option mounts take that damage? OR, are they only damaged when the ship takes Phaser damage?

I'm not certain, but I'd say it would only take phaser damage. In the rulebook, it says "_____ is disabled on _______ hits." It doesn't say anything about specific boxes.

I would agree with Pinecone.

That is correct. A phaser in an option mount is hit on "phaser" hits. If all option mounts are phasers, then "torpedo" and "drone" hits have no effect.
