In the rules for FC, would Death Bolts be destroyed by a single hit of anti-drones ? Even tough they take 8 points of damange instead of 4 ?

This is consistent with SFB where even an armored 2 space drone (a double sized drone with some of the warhead replaced by armor, 8-14 points of durability) can still be taken out with a single ADD hit. It isn't until you get to the truly huge drones (Type-H, 'SCUD', the Maeson's big boy) that you need more than one hit.

But ADDs didn't exist in Early Years, so unless you're playing a non-EY ship vs a Carnivon, it won't come up.

That is a good point as it is exactly what I was planning to do. A " time travel" type of scenario.
As far as balancing goes, are the point values equivalent for the different eras or is there an adjustment required when mixing EY and MY or GW ships ?

That's a grey area, but I would lean towards giving the EY ships a bit of a point value advantage. It's not as drastic in FC as it is in SFB, but there are some advantages to what the latter date ships can do that the EY ships haven't figured out.

Yes, a Death Bolt would be destroyed by a successful hit from an ADD.
