Question concerning hull hits

Hello,

I have a question concerning the hull damage allocation.
For example the Romulan Battlehawk only has C Hull to hit,
but the damage tracks don't list it. How is this handeled? Is R Hull or L Hull allocated to the center hull?

Thank you in advance for your help 8)

C (or consolidated) Hull represents a single, unified hull structure and as such, is hit on both Forward Hull and Rear Hull hits.

R Hull and F Hull hits both can be taken against C Hull.

This is explained in (5J).

EDIT: Incidentally, "C" means "Center". So, it is Forward Hull, Rear Hull, and Center Hull.

A note: It is possible and legal to allocate F Hull and R Hull hits to C Hull on ships that have all three kinds, though this is not normally an advisable course.

Also note that there is no difference in hit probability between F and R, and that a few ships (such as 99% of the Lyrans) have F and R rather than Right and Left.

I don't think any ships have hull listed as R and L, do they?

Some may have them displey on the right and left of the ship card, but I still think that call them out as Front and Rear.

Now, some of the earlier cards from Klingon Border may still have Front Hull and Aft Hull, but I don't remember any R / L... :?

No, I was saying that some ships have F hull and R hull where it would seem that they should have Right hull and Left hull. For example, a Lyran Trimaran has Forward hull on the left side, center hull in the middle, and Rear hull on the right side.

Romulans get into your blood, I must say. Oh, and they make that "ale" too.
And let's not forget all that big, juicy plasma!
