Orion option mounts and Phaser-G

Under rule section (4B2f) Gatling Phasers, it says the following:
Orions can use phaser-Gs in optional weapons mounts which can hole phaser-1s, with the same firing arcs. These cannot be put in "drone" option mounts.
Under rule section (5L1) Orion Optional Weapons Mounts, it says the following:
Any mount that can hold a phaser-1 can have a phaser-G, but no ship can have more than one phaser-G.
Two questions:
  1. What are "drone" option mounts? Are they the wing mounts (X, Y) on a Light Raider?
  2. Reading over the list of (5L), I don't see any specific exceptions for phaser-G. Is (4B2f) superseded by (5L)?
Thanks

Yes, (5L1) supercedes the rule in the gatling rules.

For drone option mounts, look at the Salvage, card #30.

Plan on putting the PH-G in the center mount of the BR (mount B), if you take it at all. Use it in mount A of the SAL, with mount B an ADD to help offset the additional cost of the PH-G.

If you do not have Orion Attacks, get it.

Hod K'el, dont you arm all of your Orion ships with 4 or 5 phaser G's each?

It only feels like it to you & Matt. It's called 'firing for effect'. Oh, maybe you are thinking of the four PH-G's on my LDR ship! Totally legit!
