Hey all:

I'll be running at least one event of FedCom at Gateway 2010 in LA. Gateway is held Labor Day Weekend Sep 3 - Sep 6, 2010. I haven't set a schedule yet.

If you are interested in playing in an event, give me a shout out. I'd love for some of the guys from Games Empire in Pasadena to play!

You decide on your format yet (I read your other post).

After playing with my son at Kublacon at an open gaming table (got a few questions and positive comments from passerbys), my son wants me to run something in the future, so I have been reading your posts with interest.

well, I live on the other side of the country, so I can't come.

But I'd be happy to join an Online FC tournament/campaign.

By the way, nice avatar. The "Original" Kzinti

No, the originals are in Niven's books :).

We know what you meant Piney. I remember thinking as a kid how that Kzinti looked like a cat right after a bath.

I'll have a subscription to FCOL in the next week or so. Let's get something together!

I think it will be one to two events. Multi-player. Each will have some kind of prize.

as for the scenarios, I have a conversion of the Assigned Target Game (from the SFB Tournament book), my refined Attack and Defense Scenario, and a straight ahead multi-player combat, with set up like the Origins tournament.

I would also like some suggestions foe what you all would like to play.

The only even I have to work around is the Marvel Slug Fest, which i have promised to be in (I need to pick up the Hero rules, oh my).

Will you run any events that are geared towards beginners? I'll most likely be at the con. I own the game but have never actually played...

I am considering a session for beginners. I think that would be wonderful. If you are interested I will have one.

If you live close to Orange County I can get together outside of a con and teach you.
