Does the C8 only have a drone control of 6? Is there anywhere else where the drone control of a ship is listed other than the shipcard? It was not listed in the ship discription.

The C8 has normal drone control.

There are very few ships with double drone control. The primary ships are: drone equipped battleships (Kzinti, Fed, Klingon), drone ships (e.g. CMD, NCD, D5D), and some Kzinti command ships.

With the exception of the Kzinti CC (which was errata), all ships with double drone control should have a note on their card.

Thanks, we went off of the sensor rating in the basic set. In the middle of a game against Hod'kel and Wedge

All FC ships can control six seeking weapons unless otherwise noted on the Ship Card.

That was not the answer I wanted in last night's game! Desparte times call for desperate measures! I had an Wedge's ISC Dreadnaught on the run (after ihis PPD alpha strike tore me up) and a little help from Hod'Kel (note I said little). The Orions were more interested in making a deal.

I have an older shipcard with out the power listing. I was hoping that the drone control limit was also missing.

I stayed out it trying to make a deal with the survivor to have audio and visual backup to support action taken by the winner; little did I know that the ISC cared nothing for Orion support in their efforts and was thus fired upon by the ISC! So I acted as a support ship for the Klingons...and took thirty internals for the effort. THEN he has the audacity to say Enforcer played a 'little' role?

An Orion heading away from the battle and skirting the edge of the map doesn't exactly say to the Klingons, "I've got your back."

And the ISC are equal opportunity opponents. I couldnt concentrate all my efforts on the Klingon. Didn't want you to feel left out.

I said up front that I am not here to fight, that I was looking to find a lost ship...then the ISC fired on me. Kind of tells me what happened to my lost ship, huh?

The Space Police shoot first and ask questions later.

Is that the Kzinti NCC and/or the Kzinti CC that can contol 12 drones?

What about the Klingon C10 Heavy Dreadnought? It carries 8 drone launchers (squadron scale), but I cannot find any note that allows it to control more than 6. Why would it be able to launch more drones per turn than it can control?

You would think that the larger ships would be able to control more than 6 drones at a time but unless it is printed on the card, the limit is 6. It appears that only special drone ships can control more than 6.
