FC0010: Escalation - eric_phillips vs Krellex

This game will be:
Eric (eric_phillips) flying a Federation Monitor (6x Photons)
versus
Fred (Krellex) flying a Kzinti BC
Terry O'Carroll (terryoc) will be the moderator.
The game will be played on a 42 x 30 hex, fixed map.
Eric will start in hex 1701
Fred will start in hex 2630.
Energy Allocation is due to the moderator by midnight, November 8th.

I have received initial Energy Allocations, I am just waiting to hear what facing the players' ships are.
Eric is at the top of the map in 1701, Fred is in 2630.

OK...
Eric is in hex 1701C Speed 0, Fred is in 2630A Speed 16. I need to locate an electronic version of Eric's ship for PBEM purposes, and as soon as I have, I'll send both players the ship cards for the two ships.

I am really interested in how the Federation Planetary Monitor flies. It is a real different ship for me (I've never used it and came across it by accident), with its speed limitations, but the shields and hard points make up for it. The Kzinti BC is a good ship as well. He has speed on his side, with the drones faster than me. I have good point defense... let's hope it evens things out.
