Something else I meant to check on following our carrier game the other night.

I was slightly surprised when I spotted that the F5D doesn't say it can control 12 drones. The card is probably correct and it is simply a frigate with lots of racks, but can I just check that is correct on the off chance that it was a misprint?

Yeah, you're right. This question has come up before and I remember how odd it was that it could not control more than 6 drones.

I think one tactic that it would be especially good for would be launching a full spread of drones, then maneuvering to intercept the fleeing target, then dropping the previous drones and launching another full spread right in his face. With double racks, this little ship could do stuff like that several times.

Now, reloading is another matter!

Just checked the Fed DWD. It is also does not have the double drone control note.Since both of these ships are conversions I am thinking this was done on purpose and not a oversight.

Just to close this off, the F5D (and DWD for that matter) do not have double drone control. That has always been true of the design.
