(8CM10d) SPECIAL RULES
Special Rule 2 imposes firing restriction on the Fed player.
Special Rule 4 specifically exempts the Orion and Kzinti from any firing restrictions.

The Klingons are not mentioned as having firing restrictions, nor are they mentioned as being exempt from any firing restrictions. Either way it should have been spelled out. Or I'm overlooking it.

Anyone know?

The Klingons should have been given a restriction that they could not fire on the Orion ship unless it fired on them (just like the Federation firing restriction). It should also have been added that if the Orion ship fired on a Klingon ship, the Orion would automatically lose (why he would ever do that is a total mystery!).

I did the conversion to FC and, you're right, those things should have been included.

That's an interesting restriction. Not sure why you'd need to tell the Klink not to fire upon the Orion.

Well, if the Klingon destroyed the Orion, there would be no reason for the Kzinti ships to remain, so they would leave (why would they need to help the lone Fed ship?). That would leave the Klinks 2-1 against the Fed.

Just add this: "The Klingons and Orions are allied and may not fire on each other."
