Federation NCA

Wow! What a ship!
Played a few scenarios from Briefing #1 over the weekend: The Critical hit scenario and Pandora's Box.
I played the Federation in both and flew the NCA in both. Never played this ship before. Nice improvement over the CA. More Power and IMHO, very versitile.
In Critical Hit, the Hornet took about 10 internal hits from asteroids and a pesky Romulan War Eagle. Luckily, on the last turn of the scenario before the Hornet disengaged, the R Bolt missed at range of 5 due to asteroid interference!
Interesting scenario though!
In Pandora's Box, the Hornet did not take any internal damage as the Klingons were more interested in destroying/capturing the C7. The Federation managed to cripple the D7 and damage the F5. There was no hope to capture the C7 with the Hornet 10K klicks off the starboard bow, so I was conceded victory after 7 turns.
I am playing a "Captain's" campaign of sorts with this ship: The Hornet is going into spacedock after the Critical Hit scenario, so Ill have to wait till next weekend to continue the adventures of U.S.S. Hornet.
Just a play note: This scenario would have probably taken all night and only played maybe 3 turns in SFB. However, we were able to play both scenarios in 5 hours! Bravo FC!!
