Federation Commander

Just what do orion mounts represent. Are they flexible hot swappable mounts than can be readily switched between battles, or are they just representing that there are many versions of each orion ship, but for any individual ship the weapons are pretty permanent.

I ask as part of considering orions in a campaign, and how to handle option mounts.

Option 'B'. They are to show the various configurations that can happen, but for any given ship, the weapons are fairly permanent. (They can be changed, but only rarely, and it is a major operation.)
