You probably do not have q reference rule book that has that info in it. You will need to buy distant kindgdoms or a reference rule book for that weapon

That is correct. The rulebooks in Klingon Border and Romulan Border only cover the empires therein. So, with either of those rulebooks you can run Fed, Klingon, Kzinti, Romulan, and Gorn. In addition, you can run Tholians without web casters, snares, or web generators, and you can use Orions using any of the weapons of the above empires. You can also use almost all WYN, too, if you get their ship cards from somewhere.

For rules on Tholians (including web generators and web casters) and Seltorians, you need Tholian Attack.

For rules on Hydrans, Lyrans, and WYN, you need Distant Kingdoms.

For rules on the ISC, Andromedan, and Vudar, you need War & Peace.

Alternatively, you get all of the rules (but none of the scenarios, counters, or ship cards) by purchasing the Reference Rulebook.

Is there a new Reference Rulebook? I don't believe that mine has the stuff for Andromedans in it.

The 6th edition is fairly new, so if you didn't get your reference rulebook recently (what alliteration!), your copy is probably 5th edition.

I've always admired and appreciated alliteration, especially where appropriate.
