Tonight I spent 6 hours at the local library running a few FC games between games of Munchkin and what have you. My pride and joy Connie, NCC-1700 suffered a critical right engine failure

at the hands of what I belive was a 13 year old.

Now broken Minis is part of the price we all must pay with the design of the Fed CA/CC but what do people think. Should I just use my Plastic CA (Hood) from Squadron Box 91, or should I just take a Fed BC or CS and call it a day.

I have a Micromachines NCC-1701 and Klingon D7 I use for those kind of demos.
Not exactly the correct scale... but much more durable than my painted ADB minis.

Dal, you'll be at Origins, right? Come by the booth and pick up some "challenged" starships for demos. Most people who are learning will never know the ship is missing a phaser bump or something. And it's a lot less stressful if the ship only cost a couple of bucks.

Starting to push for the "Save a Ship" effort a bit early this year, aren't you???

It's never too early to save a starship from a Fate Worse Than Death!
