Origins 2011 - Fed Com "Campaign"

Actually a small set (1 per day) of connected scenarios.

I will be running them from California. Patrick Doyle will be my onsite contact (and will also be playing).

The scenarios will involve a sequence of related conflicts mostly involving the Klingons and Federation. I will be designing the scenarios myself and there will be considerable "fog of war" involved in each, ranging from re-enforcement, special objectives (only known by the side having the objective), etc.

Each day's scenario will have consequences on the scenarios of the days that follow.

This post is for Fed Com Origins attendees to let me know that they are interested. I will tailor the forces to the expected level of participation.

If there is a real SFU history buff, preferably someone not attending (or attending but not planning on playing), please PM me. Appropriate ship names, system names, appropriate to the year and location, I'd love to make this set of scenarios consistent with that - that sort of thing, however, is not my ball of wax.

I will be attending Origins and lookign to play some Fed Comm campaign games.
I much prefer this type of game. Shoot 'em up duels are OK, but no real Captain is going to throw away three ships for the opportunity to destroy 4 of the enemies ships.
Consequences of battle are good things.

Paul, if you would, please get me the information on time blocks and I'll create events for them on our page on FB. I have people there who have already suggested they'd like FC scenarios at Origins.

I'd certainly be interested in playing in at least one of these campaign-related games. Will be at Origins with the whole family, so my time is not entirely my own...

Jean,
As I will not be there, I do not have any idea on the time blocks. Please talk to Patrick, who will be coordinating such things on site at Origins. Basically we just wanted to avoid the same time blocks as the FC tournament.

Thanks so much.

I am tentatively interested depending when it takes place.
