I just finished painting my Romulan fleet... and pet a matte finish on them.
Do I super glue the plastic stands together and then super glue the minis to the stands...?

Personal perference.
I have my minis stored in cases that enable me to store them stands attached, so I superglue them together...
Soem people use "barrel-clasps" from the local craft store to have removable stands...
Some people use the Ninja Magic magnetic stnads...
Some people use rare earth mahnets and the standard ADB stands...
And some people just fill the original hole with epoxy and drill a new one to fit a metal pin inserted into the end of hte ADB stand and snap them together when ready to play.
It's all up to how you want to do it.

If superglue is good enough for Soutdad, it's good enough for me.
I'm done.
This was my son's Christmas present.
He now has a Romulan fleet.
I have never finished anything like this before.
I can't believe it...!

My friend doesn't glue his to the stands. We have a house rull that whenever his mini falls off of the stand during play, he takes 5 points of damage.

Funny. I have a house rules, too: If you knock a mini off the stand; it's destroyed.
You'd be surprised how careful everyone gets after a few mysterious ship losses are reported to fleet command.

I appreciate the vote of confidence.
I'm bringing 8 cases of minis to Origins.
The cases and the inserts come from Wal-Mart. Total cost comes out to less than $6 a case. Get with me and I'll some them to you and give you part numbers.

Coming soon; the wife took the camera on a trip.
(The trip is a big part of how I could get finished....)
