I am correct in saying you may fire Drones (or any other weapon) at the end of impulse #8 of one turn and then fire the same drone rack on impulse #1 of the next turn. This would seem to be a standard tactic for a drone empire (almost said race) like the Kzinti. It would bunch your drones close together

I am correct in thinking that you could not do this same tactic in SFB.

In SFB if you fired your drone racks on impulse 32 you would not be able to use them again until impulse 8 of the next turn.

Yes, that is completely valid.

In SFB terns, the delay to fire single-turn weapons a second time is 4 SFB impulses rather than 8.
