Battlegroups on page 31 of CL43

I have tried every logical variation of the url:
http://www.starfleetgames.com/battlegroup.html
and searched the site index. I can't find the new page for the battlegroups (player groups) that was discussed on page 31 of Captain's Log # 43.
Can anyone help me with this???
Thanks.

Funny.
I received an email from ADB today asking me to put together the information for our Battlegroup [Battlegroup Murfreesboro],
Seems like Joels computer died a couple of weeks ago and had to be completely rebuilt. Well, that has been done and now the software is beign reinstalled and the machine configured to run as before [you gotta love Carbonite!].
Anyway, Joel is a part time employee and he has the only machine that can access the BBS to upload data. this has put the Battlegroup page behind a little bit. I'd expect it'll go live within the next few days.

Thanks for the information. I was very excited about this because I hope to finally find a playgroup somewhere near here after 6 years of looking.
Now I just have to remember to check every few days.

didn't know about it.
Just been buying the modules and Captain's log since the 80s and have not had anyone to play with for more than six years. Keep buying the new stuff in the hope of finding players or recruting them.
Will try the link after I eat.

maldark, try using the discussion groups. There should be topics set up for each game that are for finding players for that game.
leathernsteel, there are lots of folks who like it and we've found lots of people who are only there. While there is some overlap, there's lots of new folks

. And they get lots and lots of art (anyone can look at our page without being on FB, so feel free to browse).

I understand, as a business, you must use facebook. I'm just glad that there is this forum here. Every time I try to browse something on Facebook, I get hit with a million PMs of people I haven't spoken to in years.

The reality is that we have to do everything (discus, php, newsletters, facebook) because there is no one avenue that reaches everyone. More work for Jean, with more results for the total than any one place.

I looked, didn't find anyone with 100 miles. But did post where I am.
The search goes on....

Jean does a fantastic job on the facebook page to be sure! ABD is more in touch with the customers than any company of it's type that I have ever seen. That's probably why ABD is still around and shall continue to grow, even in a bad economy.
My complaint about the facebook page was directed at facebook and having nothing to do with ABD or anything they have done probably didn't belong on the forum here.

Just going by memory without looking them up,
Carrollton (30117) is thirty minates away
and Douglasville (30135) is an hour away.
So I will try to get on starlist.
