I'm telling you folks, if you want to go with the 2500's, I have a solution that will make them work with SFB and Fed Com games using magnetic stands. I'm just so short on time though, I haven't been able to take pics. I've shared this idea with the now forming Orlando Battle Group. I'm so short on time right now, I feel like a one legged cat, trying to bury turds on a frozen pond!
Thank you so much, Scoutdad, for posting those images!!!!!! It answers many questions I had about them that I was afraid to post here!

Is that the actual stand that came with the 2500? Would a standard ADB stand work with the 2500?

That is the Mongoose stand.
The answer to your "question" Burt, is yes. The standard ADB flight stand will fit the hole in the Mongoose mini - if you use the all plastic stand. In order to use the stand with the metal peg, you'll need to drill out the stand hole a bit.
The Mongoose stand works so much better for ACTA for several reasons. Cheif among them, the ability to turn the mini on the stand w/o moving the stand.
Fortunately, I'm a pretty smart guy and have already figured out how to adapt them to work with rare earth magnets. I will prep the first two dozen or so Mongoose stands and then will adapt all future ST2400 minis (and teh current crop as needed) so that I can interchange them at will.

Magnetic stands, no. Rare earth magnets, aye (if you fancy converting your own). PM sent.
