Federation Commander

Apologies if this duplicates an earlier thread--if so I did not see it.

I've gotten some crap models from the 2500 series (Klingon cruisers and the Kzinti HBC, especially), but I got a nice email from the Head Mongoose himself promising replacements, so I'm still willing to be won over.

However... since I'm really principally interested in FC, I would love to know what the deal is with Border Boxes for 2500. Is this likely? Is this likely soon? It looks as if it would not be possible until Tholians are released (for the the first two boxes anyway), and the Gorn for the third and fourth. But is this something that's being planned/likely soon, or had I best not hold my breath? I'd rather be painting ships than pinching pennies, but I can't afford to do both 2400 and 2500 in any large numbers.

It was supposed to happen before now, but we all know the prouction delay stories.

It will happen soon, very likely only ADB mail order, but it will happen.

Ok, quick information....

They have not yet released all of the ships so they really isn't a way to release any of the four border boxes. However, they should release the last of the ships within the next six weeks and we can expect border boxes then.
