Feedback on the new Communique format

I have to say that I really like the new format for Communique. The new content layout (the idea of putting the new content towards the front of the issue), and also just the general look and feel, are so much better.
There's obviously a lot of thought gone into this. Well done

I like the new format as well.
One ship and one scenario is enough. Eliminating the unecessary regularly repeated text is helpful. Adding color to the text for the critical new info was a good idea as well.
The low toner (greyscale) ship (assuming it is a new ship) eventually appearing in color on a card in a printed product or in an e23 ship pack works for me as well.

Yes, me too on these points

Especially the latter one about the colour; that was a clever touch!

I like that it will free up the staff's time for projects. You can even skip a month and it would be OK with me.

I'm wondering if ADB tracks how many times a Communique is downloaded?
The new format is an improvement. A bunch of boilerplate text never makes for good reading issue after issue, no matter what the periodical might be.
I still miss the color ship diagrams. I'm also wondering if reducing the number of ships in an issue could bring back the color?
Overall, good improvements to Communique!

We're going to keep the color in printed and e23 packs, not communique.

Color in print and e23 works for me. I assume the b/w (comm, CL, briefings, etc.) will someday be one of those two options

I like the new format, and b&w won't even bother me!

Withholding colored ships is a way to get players to purchase the same ships when they are released in a product-- I get it, I don't even mind it. Given the exhaustive process it takes to get ships out in products and e23, I have to believe that certain ships are released in communique that the ADB staff knows will never make it into a published product. If so, maybe those ships could be colorized?

They will be colorized ... in e23.
