Steve Cole just called me. He fell in the shower today and they've found that he has broken the tibia in his left leg. He will not be in to work for the next several days. As more is found out, we will let you know about his condition and work schedule.

Thank you for your patience.

Update on Steve Cole and orders: SVC is in a great deal of pain and cannot use a computer or access the Internet at this time.

Leanna asked me to let people know that orders may be delayed. Orders placed on Thursday are probably delayed if they weren't entered early on that day. Orders placed since then have not been processed. Leanna absolutely must stay with Steve at this point. She hopes to be able to get to the orders by Tuesday.

Leanna wanted you to know that we're sorry for the delay. This isn't what we like to do, but Steve must take priority at this time.

A quick update. Steve Cole is starting to have the pain levels go down in his leg. He now has a wheelchair and folks are working to arrange the office building so he can work effectively. I am encouraged by what I heard tonight -- he was much clearer, much more upbeat, and more positive.

We will have to play it by ear. No one knows how much stamina he will have this week. He certainly cannot drive and his time at the office might be curtailed. We should have more information after he meets with a specialist on Thursday.

thanks everyone.

The back edge of the top plateau of the big bone in the lower left leg is crushed and cracked. When it heals, it will have a dent in it that will give me a permanent limp and weakness in that leg. No more juming out of helicopters with a rifle but climbing out of the APC and running shouldn't be a problem. Those zombies still cannot catch me.

I should be working half days for a month then be back to full time.

Think you'll be up to fighting Tribbles any time soon? ;)

I fear no zombie but tribbles give me the creeps.

Lots of news tonight.

1. Leanna is caught up on mail orders. There are a couple of people that she's emailed to get things sorted out. Everyone else has their orders filled.

2. ADB got a shipment of minis from Mongoose. SVC and Petrick were quality checking them earlier this evening.

3. Rules for the new SFB battle groups for Captain's Log #47 are posted. If you want to get your fingers back into plotting and planning and thinking strategically and you don't mind writing up those plans, you might want to contribute.

4. I've got to read over the rules for the new Federation Commander battle groups and then those will be posted.

5. Steve Cole is getting around pretty well in his wheelchair. There is a ramp in the building that is a bit too steep for him to be comfortable going up (we certainly don't need him going over backwards and damaging his head!), but someone is always willing to help him. Steve also proved to himself that he can drive if he needs to. He doesn't use his left leg for driving.

6. Captain's Log #46 Supplemental File is available for download and soon it will be available via mail order. The free download is here: http://www.starfleetgames.com/documents ... ile_SR.pdf

SVC is out of the office (as is everyone) today. They are having a blizzard and it isn't safe to drive in.
