Federation Commander

I am thinking about trying to Demo Federation and Empire at my local gaming group next weekend. I am thinking about running a free game, with perhaps a war between the Lyrans and Kzinti. I would prefer to use the Federation vs Klingons or perhaps Romulans, but I think the larger econmy of the Federation would allow it to easily overwhem its opponents. Any thoughts or advice on this would be greatly appreciated!

I will have to look for the Captain Log # when I get home but I used the Second Federation Klingon War. Limlted engagement area very basic economy. No fighters and limited Scout Units.
