Heavy weapons for defensive fire?

A question about defensive fire, well, two questions really:
When a drone has impacted on a shield:
Can heavy weapons (disruptors/photon torpedos/plasma etc) be used in the defensive fire phase?
if not:
can heavy weapons be targeted on impacted drones during the offensive fire phase?

That would be a "No" in both cases.
Impacted weapons may only be fired upon during the Defensive Fire phase. If you have not destroyed the drone or suicide shuttle at that point, you may hold it there with a tractor beam. But it still counts as being impacted and can only be fired upon during a following Defensive Fire phase. If you have not destroyed a plasma torpedo during the Defensive Fire phase of impact, then it hits and applies its damage immediately. A plasma cannot be tractored.
Only the ship that the weapons have impacted on may fire at impacted seeking weapons. The only exception to this are Aegis escorts which have a very limited range where they can fire on weapons impacted on a different ship.
Phasers, anti-drones, ISC rear-firing plasmas, ESGs, Snares, and IPGs are the only weapons that can be fired at impacted drones or suicide shuttles. (Note that drones and Plasma-D may not be used against impacted drones.) Phasers and the only weapons that can be fired at impacted plasma.
That all said, any heavy weapon may be fired at a drone or suicide shuttle before it impacts. (Plasma are still only affected by phasers.)

OK Thanks for the clarification.
Not the kind of question you want to be worrying about when the Kzinti are bearing down on you.
