I am a newbie to Federation Commander and am looking for a patient opponent to guide me through the rules in a simple game.

I assume you mean in an email game, given it is the PBEM thread.
If you can get a moderator I will give you a game. I am reasonably experienced with Fed Com, and am happy to play any side in any scenario you wish. I can leave the details of the game up to you (so you can choose which sides you want to see in action, and what type of game you are happy with), just let me know what it is and who I am playing.

I'm game.
I've got a ton of stuff going on - but a simple one on one (or even two on two) game doesn't require that much effort on the moderators part.
If both parties are willing to accept me as moderator, email me off line at tony (dot) l (dot) Thomas (at) Comcast (dot) net
[that's a lower case 'L', not an upper case I in the email address]
We can arrange the match-up offline, then come back here to post the set-up.

THanks guys...this is great. I only have the "First Missions" rules so if that is ok with you I'm ready.

Hey Scoutdad,
Would you mind making this into a DAR ( During Action Report ), and give details for both sides on a turn by turn basis (assuming both players agree).
Ofcourse, this would mean that both players can't look at this thread to find out any info.
You might need to start a new Thread titled Roger & Story DAR (something to that effect) so that others can come along for the details.
*UPDATE*...Disregard the above as I just noticed this Thread is from a year ago.
