Wasn't sure where to ask this on the Discus so figured I'd put it here. Hydran X ships can carry the Stinger X i.e. fusions, gat and ph-2. Is there a reason why there isn't a Stinger XH i.e. one that carries a helbore? We've been playing regular Hydrans lately and are considering trying out the X version of some ships and the question came up.

Stinger-X has 1 phaser 2, one phaser-g, two fusions, and 12 damage points. But with no X-ships in FC, why does it matter?

There is a stinger-H but we decided NOT to port it over to FC. We'd have to port a bunch of other stuff too and it's a journey best not begun because THIS WAY LIES MADNESS. There is no Stinger-XH.

I wasn't talking about FC. I was talking about SFB. I was simply curious why SFB Hydran X ships have the Stinger X with fusions but didn't advance the use of the Stinger H. Now to be clear, I only have Module X1 so perhaps there is an advanced Stinger X in Module X1R?

Nope, there is no Stinger-XH and there are no plans to launch one.

Lots of things that are bad for things are interesting.

Would it have unbalanced the Hydran X ships that used it? In non-X Hydran ships the Stinger-H was used pretty sparingly so I would suspect it would have been the same in any X ship Stinger-H.
