This might be helpful to others using the client.
I played a game with fizzlefist last night on the client and it was a bit cludgy on my side. During one Offensive Fire phase I wasn't able to select any weapons. Also, after damage was applied to one ship the red squares appeared as an overlay on the other ship card. Odd.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the client and it works well now. I couldn't replicate the problem.
As to the game itself thanks to fizzlefist--it was a lot of fun and I look forward to more.
