Orion ranks

I've got another question regarding ranks. This time about Orion ranks. Orion general officer ranks (Junior Lt, 2nd Lt and 1st Lt) are always higher then warrant officers (like chandler, navigator, medic etc). What about enlisted crewmen? Do general crewmen (crewman, able-bodied crewman and petty officer) outrank ratings?

I never though of Orion pirates of having an official rank structure. It'd be more like the days of wooden sailing ships.
You have the captain, of course, although the title could be master or commander.
You have the first mate or lieutenant as the second-in-command. The engineer and doctor are "officers" for the perks and privileges they have earned. The rest of the crew are "enlisted", but really just hired hands (or forced laborers) with a couple "chiefs" or boatswains to oversee them.

I am not sure which version of the chart you are looking it. (I found four on my computer, done over a period of years.) One of them (in pretty colors) seems to be the one you are using, so I'll try to answer.
The higher two ratings are petty officers, which outrank able-bodied crewmen and basic crewmen.

I was talking about these:

And can you tell me, if a general petty officer outranks all of the petty officers of the ratings or just the one with two symbols?
Thanks again for your help!
PS: What are those other Orion rank charts you made? Are they different to this coloured one?

A line officer (or petty officer) outranks a specialist.
