Which scale will the upcoming fast patrol minis be made in?

I mean I will be happy with them made in the generic scale that applies to both, but it would be real cool to make them fit on an SL 2500 PFT!

In 3125 or 3788 they would be the size of two pin heads. Seriously.
We'll make them something like 3/4 inch or somewhere around there.

Per info previously posted (and per what the boss posted) -
They will be in Starline 2425, the "non-scale" line that includes freighters, bases and other ships done to their own unique scales. The existing Starline fighters are also part of that line now, as they to are done to their own scale, different than the ships (but in-scale with each other).
For the gunboats, 3/4 of an inch sounds about right. However, my intention is to model the gunboats to be smaller than the frigates and ideally a bit larger than the fighters. Finding that size where they will look "right" on the game table will be half of the work.
Courtesy of a generous collector of-note, I have samples of all the legacy Starline 2200 PF minis to refer to.

Can't wait to see what you do to upgrade them...
I need to send you an email... I've got an idea...

30 to 40 meters, in 1/2500 (not to be confused with SL2500) that would be between 1/2 and 2/3 inch. At 1/1000, pushing an inch and a half. Alas, I probably won't get something I can port directly over to modeling.

No, they won't work directly with the typical scale-modeling scales. However, SVC is a river to his people and if enough people say they wanted them, the CAD models could certainly be scaled up to be done larger. (Larger is super-easy, smaller involves more work to keep feature sizes above the minimums the 3D printing can handle).

This is so very true. Manual molding can go down to fractions much smaller than 3d printing is currently capable of. For example, the 'grill' features that are common on many Klingon ships from ADB are impossible to match even in Shapeways' FUD.
Most of my own work is oriented around printing in WSF so I have to be even more sparing with the fine detail. 3/4s of a millimeter may not seem like much... but then you remember that the gridlines on the Starline 2500 Federation saucers are about half a millimeter wide...
