While I keep looking forward to Feline Empires being published, would it be possible to shorten the latency by disclosing possible Lyran (naval) ranks and corresponding rank insignia? I am really enjoying the already published rank insignia for many other factions of the Starfleet Universe!

I would have sworn we had done that. Let me make a note. No promises for anything this week.

I couldn't find rank insignia for Gorn and ISC either. Maybe I overlooked them.

And I couldn't find Tholians either.

I know we did/posted Gorns. Cannot remember Tholians.

I found an incomplete set of Lyran rank graphics, which reminded me that the source was an article by a former staffer. I will try to track him down and get another copy of the original.

Steve, I did find Gorns within the player resources.

And according to my search, there are Tholian ranks within Captain's Log #32 and Away Team Log respectively.

That just leaves us without Lyrans and ISC.

I kept looking at the incomplete Lyran document I had, scratching my head as to what it all meant, and Sunday afternoon it all made sense. It's now on Jean's desk for proofreading. Any luck and Simone will upload it Tuesday.

first of all thank you so much for the upload! These ranks are awesome! And I love the little remark that these were researched by a starfleet intelligence officer. This will be a great fluff when giving the rank sheet as handout to players.

It seems, the problem only occurs when tring to log in from my mobile, but only recently. Seems strange to me.

Jon Cleaves is a retired colonel from US Army intelligence and a long-time fan of Star Fleet Battles. He and I had a non-SFU professional relationship when my primary job was in military intelligence. (He is one of those guys who did a job as an officer then retired and started doing the same job at the same desk as a civilian the next day.)

The Star Fleet Universe is full of real world military people. The Chuck Strong who is in charge of F&E is a retired USAF Colonel who once upon a dark night bagged a MiG over Iraq. His assistant, Ryan Opel, works to this day in counter-terrorism. I commanded a Guard military police combat security company for three years, then was in charge of brigade operations. Lots of veterans around here.
