Is the vision that starship combat rules will be self-contained in the book, using some version of the MgT starship combat rules? Or is the vision that there's a blurb saying 'go use Star Fleet Battles' or some other product?

There will be a section on how to do starship combat wo\ith Fed Commander/SFB, it will be located as one of the very last chapters. We want to include starship combat in the core rulebook, I just need to figure out how to define our ships in MGT terms.

One of the perks of getting the new 2022 update is that Starship combat is now included vs having to get High Guard supplement.

I believe starship combat was already in the core rules prior to the 2022 edition, but starship construction rules were not.

I don't think we need starship construction rules for Prime Directive, just specs for all the common Federation and enemy starship types would do the trick for me

100% agree. I just need to check my notes. There was something MGP sent me that called out the list of differences. I just need to dig.

Space Combat is in the Core Rulebook, the new FREE supplement, and in the new 2022 book which includes construction as well. In all transparency, the starship talk is where my strongest skillset takes place.
