Hi,

I am new to the forums and ACTASF, but not new to SFB. I have spent a few days reading many posts. I am really interested in Lyrans for Call to Arms which I believe is suppose to be in book 3.

The last post I can see about this subject is way back in September of 2019, seeing as its now September 2022 I wonder if book 3 is any closer to being released?

If not, would it be possible to get a preview of the Lyran Tiger Heavy Cruiser or equivalent datasheet?

The answer is clear and detailed too.

Yes, we are rolling right long behind the scenes on Book 4

As it looks right now we should have 4 well more like 3 and a half new Empires. Lyran, Democratic Lyran Rebels, Trashcans... umm I mean, Hydran and alot of new WYNs.

Weapon Systems maybe 4ish, Hellbores, Fusions, ESGs and Maulers.

New Units Strike Carriers and a smaller Carrier along with 1 fighter per Empire. More will be in Reinforcement 2 when it comes out.

Tony is figuring on squeezing in 300 ships. Short of jumping up and down on the book I am not sure how that is getting accomplished.

All this is TENTATIVE but, seems pretty solid. We won't know for sure til after the layout is done.

As far as previewing a Tiger CA I can run it up the pole and see what Tony and Steve say.

As for when? That's the Million Credit question. I believe they are working on the R6 update and the Orion Master Ship Book? Next, I hope, is The Double Nickel Captain's Log. Then hopefully we are up but we will see. They have a newsletter or 2 hopefully in there as well.

May fault. I have book 3 on my computer but am only partly done with it. Too many interruptions. The big storage project took all of May, Stratcon took all of June, Covid made a mess of July, injuries took out August, even now a more recent injury means I can barely move my right arm and hand. I'll get back to work on it soon.
