Now that the latest round of miniatures painting contests have closed and the winners have been declared - I have been able to update my minis website.
Scoutdad's SFB / FC Miniatures Page
Take a look and comment on the "
NEW" postings... or on any of the old ones.

Also, look forward to a totally redesigned site utilizing a better service than Geocities... coming your way.
The plan is to complete and upload during our offices holiday shut-down.

Hey Tony - nice work but it looks like a bunch of the links got mangled. Several links are "hot" over an entire line of text and not just the relevant column.

Dang. I thought that I had that fixed... bummer. Thanks for the heads-up. I'll fix that ASAP.

Cool. It will be good to see the other "missing" pics, as you have some great stuff!

Aww, shoot. Still a bunch of links pointing to funny places.
I was hoping to get a look at that Fed fleet picture, but it's pointing to a HDW.

That's weird. It was working when I first uploaded it.. .now it's carp!
I guess I'll just redo it this weekend and start from scratch:

Me thinks I spies a double-wide battle pod on the far right.

Sorry, we're playing with TacIntel in this game, so I cannot tell you what that is until your range closes a little bit more or you power up a scout channel... but at this distance, I can confirm that its a double weight pod - type unknown.
All the links seem to be working now... [fingers crossed]

But Thanksgiving weekend is now to be dedicated to at least getting the basic layout of my new page completed and uploaded to Comcast...

You can't see them all from this angle (better pictures on the new page, I promise) but there is indeed:
a double-weigh pod
A total of 10 DD hulls, comprising Scouts, DDs, DDL, DDG, DE, DEA, etc...
A FFS
A NCS
A CLH
A CAD
A GSC
A DWL
A DWS
A Mike Raper CX, GSX, and a scratch-built Battleship (grey ones in back row)
and several other minor conversions.

Looks like that last tweak got all the links working. Great stuff!

I had 2 hyper-links cross-connected near the middle of the page. Once I deleted those and then reconnected them, everything seemed to work.

Scoutdad,
Looks great - all you need now is a minor skirmish that lets you play the whole fleet at the same time!!

I actually have all the minatures needed (including conversions) to do "Calvary Charge" with miniatures...
We [Battlegroup Murfreesboro] have 4 large (4'x8') starmaps, 12 players, and a room to set the maps up in... all we need is enough time to complete it within our lifetimes!
I offered to bring the maps, minis, and SSDs to Origins a few years ago - but did not have enough takers to even make it seem feasible - and now I let Chuck and the rest of the F&E staff suck me into a weekend long game of Federation and Empire every year, so I guess it'll remain a fond desire for a while longer.
