Hi all,

Could someone please take a millimeter rule to a D7 and tell me how long the ship is? Thanks.

Front of the boom to rear of the hull/deckhouse = 41 mm
Front of the boom to rear of the warp engines = 48 mm
You didn't ask for width, but:
Widest point across warp engines = 38 mm

Interesting. The D7 is officially 228m, which should make it 60mm in 1/3788. 48mm overall scales to 182m. Do I scale my model "properly?" Or do I make it compatible with ADB's? Drat.

Thanks for the measurement.

The current one-piece pewter D-7 is a little smaller than the older four-piece lead mini. The older one matches blueprints, etc. better, but are not available anymore.

Oh, sorry about that, I did measure a new one.
Old lead D7 specs:
Front of the boom to rear of the hull/deckhouse = 46 mm
Front of the boom to rear of the warp engines = 57 mm
Widest point across warp engines = 44 mm

Hope that helps :)

It does, thanks. Much easier decision.
