The Frax submarine rules allow self-guided drones to be launched while cloaked. Does doing so void the cloak? I ask because the Axiom Torpedoes are very clear that they can be fired while cloaked and they do not void the cloak (unless overloaded, when they will void the cloak for 1 impulse). The drones only state that they can be launched without specifying whether they voiid the cloak or not.
Note: I only have the Frax rules from the Ship Card Pack 3 pdf, so if there are expanded rules for Frax submarines in Federation Commander, I would appreciate a pointer to them. |

Launching drones (in self-guiding mode) while cloaked will not void the cloak. That probably should have been noted, but was missed.
As a general concept, the whole point of the Frax subs is to allow a ship to fight and offensive battle while cloaked. As such, forcing them to void the cloak in order to launch drones would pretty much defeat the point of the ships. _________________
