The Conquistador is 172 BPV versus the Heavy Mamba with refits at 164.....is that correct? Can someone let me know the thoight behind it? I may be missing something. Or, is it an error?

Eyeballing it, that looks reasonable. Don't forget that the Conquistador has 2 Dis Devs, 2 extra T-bombs and a Hanger space.

I guess I can see that. It is just that the Heavy Mamba has such a superior alpha strike capability. I think that in a fleet engagement the Conquistador may be preferred, but one-on-one it seems hard to argue with 9 phaser 1's and 3 TRH's. It sure is a nice little ship!

T12 has the CW Chairman Kiroth assigned to the 2nd Fleet in Y195. Both R14.5 and R14.9 state that this ship was converted to the PFW Assembly in Y179 which is listed as being in the First Fleet in Y195. Ryan J Opel 8 Aug 14

In truth, the basic countersheet was done, but SVC did not have time to do the graphics for it. Then my computer self-destructed, so the file would now have to be created over from scratch.

At the time it happened, I was having a problem with the graphics program that made Andros in particular so difficult to deal with I just didn't. Now, that's no longer a problem.

I have done a check, and discovered that I have two draft copies of a C3A counter format that survived the death of my computer.

One just says it is a "C3A counter format," the other says it is an "e23 C3A counter format."

There are definite differences between them (on a fast look, I have not taken the time to dig into them, but the "e23 C3A counter format" provides for four "pod" counters and two squadrons of bombers, while the "C3A counter format" has no provision for pods (on a fast look) and only provides for six bombers.

There are other differences, but it would take time to extract them.

While looking through this again for the first time in a long time to support stuff around the gunboats and fighters, I noticed one minor line item:

In the Master Fighter Chart, in the very last entry for the AB-HM, it has "2xPh-2-FX,3xPh-2-RX" for the Phaser entry. It should be "3xPh-2FX,2xPh-2-RX" to match the AB-H (and the SSD). - Mike West 27-04-22
