Hi.
As I have mentioned on a few other threads, I was thinking of the modelling potential provided by the new Nest Ship/Battlewagon mini.
One could have two such ships, cut each of them at the right points, and re-assemble the larger portions as an 8-bay Hive Ship.
However, the two leftover pieces could be combined into a smaller, 4-bay factory ship - which I would like to be named the Lair Ship.
Such a vessel would be mainly useful as the basis for smaller Seltorian actions in M81 (or as part of larger Seltorian expeditions in M81's satellite clusters and galaxies) but could also serve as part of an intergalactic force - perhaps as a means of securing and exploiting one or more of the smaller clusters or satellite galaxies in the vicinity of the Milky Way.
Also, a variant of this ship could be given the same web breaker armament as the Battlewagon was, and used during the Revolt (or Tribunal).
Could there be room in the Seltorian fleet for such a Lair Ship?

I like it because it gives us the feel of a Hive without the large fleet battle to go with it.
