You may negotiate with one another as you see fit.
Map with all home positions color coded uploaded.
I'm waiting on secondary race picks from Sky_Captain and Purple_Daddy. Please email 'em.

Bottom right it is !
One thing, what are the colored circles ?
They are in OZ-011 by itself, OZ-029 with a resource center.
Thanks
Cheers
Frank

Colored circles are nebulas.

We'll have our secondary choice in soon, it's barely 6 AM in Germany and my comrade in arms is still sleeping. ;)

Secondary is in.

I am currently re-building the order spreadsheet from M&C for DbOM. I hope to have it out for Monday evening for everyone to build their fleets.
Y'all are welcome to negotiate and trash talk as you see fit.
I would like to schedule a fixed time weekly 'everyone meet on SFBOL or talk on Skype' meeting for this campaign.
For me, the best day/time is Thursday evening/night.
By Dale McKee (Brigman) on Sunday, January 10, 2010 - 04:57 am: Edit |
OK, our secondary is in. Hated to be the ones holding things up, but you did say Tuesday. Wasn't expecting the flood!
As far as the "meet", I'd be down for SFBOL on Thursdays, depending on time - I'm on the west coast, so I'm often finishing up dinner til 6, 6:30 PST. Sadly, I don't have Skype.

Circles and Arrows? "Is there a paragraph on the back of each one explaining what each
one was to be used as evidence against us?"

Dale:
Skype is free (www.skype.com), go d/l it ;)

The Blank Map file is now updated.
It has a key explaining terrain types. It also has a key showing how factional fleets will be identified, how their movements will be recorded on the map, and contains secondary race picks in the explanation of the color coding.

Holy smokes, this is getting high tech !!
Great job Ken !!
I have built 2 fleets, not sure which one I will use yet but I may build a 3rd for the fun of it !
Yep, lots of time on my hands today !!
Also, noticed no ECP torp nor ECM drones allowed !
That changes things indeed !

Thursdays works for me to meet as well.
I will download this Skype thingy.

Thursdays will work for me as well. I will have to find a working MIC if we use Skype.
By Robert Grey (Tugger) on Sunday, January 10, 2010 - 03:13 pm: Edit |
Thurs should be fine.
Already have Skype and headset.
By Francois Lemay (Princeton) on Sunday, January 10, 2010 - 03:33 pm: Edit |
I have skype now.
Not sure how I will connect through the computer on Thursday ?
If some one knows how, a breif explanation would be greatly appreciated !
Cheers

Skype?
Let me look into it. I'll need a mic.
Thursdays are usually good.
By Peter Thoenen (Eol) on Sunday, January 10, 2010 - 05:15 pm: Edit |
You can listen regardless .. also Skype supports IM'ing if you don't have a mic.
Basically you make a conference room and you can either talk, listen, or chat
By Dale McKee (Brigman) on Sunday, January 10, 2010 - 06:37 pm: Edit |
Ugh - more software to install/learn. If need be, but I'd be happier with just an SFBOL meet to chat.
Anyway, I don't want to be the vinegar in the mix - I'll work with whatever.
Looking forward to this one!

Ken,
If you do planning on having your meeting on Thuesday nights, could you try to avoid the 9:30pm ET to 10:30pm ET window? That is when I have my TalkCast. I will understand if that is not possible.
By Ken Burnside (Ken_Burnside) on Monday, January 11, 2010 - 01:27 pm: Edit |
Paul, Thursday works best for me, it may not work best for everyone else.
I'll try to avoid double booking with your podcast.
Guys - is there a better day than Thursday for this for you?
Mondays and Tuesdays are generally out for me due to face to face gaming commitments.
By Jeremy Gray (Gray) on Monday, January 11, 2010 - 01:40 pm: Edit |
If its an evening during the week, Dale will need to represent us. I like you guys and all, but I'm not getting up a 3am once a week just to talk about SFB. I might stand watch in the middle of the night for a living, but I'm not doing it on shore duty just for nostalgia's sake.
So, you guys might get the Purple, but no Daddy!
By Fred J. Kreller (Kreller1) on Monday, January 11, 2010 - 01:55 pm: Edit |
That's awfully narrow-minded of you, Jeremy. :-P
The only evenings that won't work for me are Monday and Wednesdays.
By Ken Burnside (Ken_Burnside) on Monday, January 11, 2010 - 02:11 pm: Edit |
Jeremy - we're keeping your circadian rhythms nice and...flexible...for your next sea deployment.
No charge. Any favor for a friend.
By Ken Burnside (Ken_Burnside) on Monday, January 11, 2010 - 04:14 pm: Edit |
Answering Frank's question from SFBOL:
You may mix units of your primary and secondary empires to make combined fleets.
By Francois Lemay (Princeton) on Monday, January 11, 2010 - 04:34 pm: Edit |
Thanks Ken, I had to go suddenly.
Cheers
