Sorry to see you go, Princeton, I hope all is well with you.

For the record, I would be fine with Ken picking a new Secondary race, since we have not as yet build fleets. Then again, I am all the way across the board from him, so dont weight my opinion too strongly. I would defer to those who are adjacent to him.

Sorry to see you go, Frank! Hope real life isn't kicking you too hard.

For the record, not to put too fine a point on it, I'm opposed to any change in secondary races. We all had to go into this blind and changing a secondary race in response to what's around you seems a tad unfair. Plus, Jeremy and I actually have built our fleets and I would hate to go through all that again. Nothing personal, Ken!

Speaking of which, are we going to kick off anytime soon?

All is well at my end, its just I need to take time off for home renovations which have been currently dragging on too long.

Ken Apel is ok with taking Roms as primary and Lyrans as Secondary.
Since the campaign has not started, he will build his own fleet.

I am happy to play as Romulans with Lyrans for spice, I am just not sure how large a fleet to build.. I will read over the rules again, but I didnt see this explained, I suspect there were some detailed conversations that I missed out on.. any materials you could send me would be helpful

I'm still poking at the ship inventory and order building spreadsheets. It's not quite doing what I want it to do.

Each position has 2000 points to start from with 600 tied up in the home sector starbase. No single fleet can be more than 700 BPV.

Ken, you're now down as the third alternate admiral, after Peter Thoenen and Tos Crawford. For you to build a fleet taking over Frank's position, both Peter and Tos need to weigh in and say "Passing this time..."

Dale is correct that you cannot change secondary powers. You're stuck with Romulo-Lyrans.

I need to finish the order entry spreadsheet.

For that to happen, I need a second (and preferably two) people to build up the adjacency tables for double checking, plus stuff I have to do on my end.

Does anyone here know how to use the map template generator?

I'd like to have some pre-loadable map templates for the campaign that people can use.

I would like the standard map to be hexagonal, with a center hex and extending 34 hexes out from it in 6 directions (so corner to corner range is 70).

To clarify/confirm, Ken, you told me the "starting Starbase" we are forced to buy does NOT count towards that requirement... but future build bases do.
