The battle of IR_104 continues.
We are about 1/2 way though the 2nd turn.
He has a D5W, F5S, a Tholian CM and two DD's.
I have a CA, CS and zin DWS.
He deployed drogues from his Kling ships near the end of turn 1, slowing his fleet speed to 12.
I wiggled a bit, and kept the end of the turn range to 36.
Turn two, he continued at 12 till ~ impulse 12, launching 4 drones from each of his drogues, then landing them, and speeding up to 21. I launched 4 drones from my DWS. I turned in towards the planet, going dir E, and hes aproaching the planet going in dir C. My speed was 17/24, speeding up on imp 17.
As I cut across his bow, lots of stuff happendon i17, range 20. I launched a Sabot S, he fired his Web and I fired my PPD's. I got lucky and hit with all 3 initial pulses, on the #1 of his Thol MC. We played some EW yo-yo, and he broke one of the 2nd pulses, but I equalized the EW for the 3rd pulse, so 2 will hit, and the 3rd will roll with a 7 to hit. The web was placed, I think, to make it difficult to fire PPD at range 15, and cover his approach.
No fire from him so far, range remains 19-20 on imp 19.

We had to save mid impulse, but will pick up again soon, methinks. (Not tonight, though, Val.)

No Sumo today so Tugger and I completed another round. We are going into turn 4 now.
Battle report-
The ISC crusiers ripped the front off my Tholian NCM with PPD fire bringing the forward shield down to 8 and battering the 1 & 6.
I have only scored damage on his scout & CC's rear shields like 8 points each roughly.

So it is still looking fine for both sides. We have noticed slower than average ship speeds most of the turns have had under 20 for a portion.

I hate the ISC and have time zone problems but I can temp fill in if nobody else wants to.

I finished my FSC fight so I am able to play every Sunday from around 9am my time (Hawaii) to 18:00 (my time) which should be able to meet most schedules

Turn 7 Sumo vs Val

The Kith lost the F5 this round, and fired on the DD with no active shields down to 5 internal, 2 of them warp. We then swung out reloading racks an recharging phasers. The Feds got my 1 Web caster last round so screening is out. ECM 4 was raised on all 3 remaining ships.
We both made slow turns and are heading back in at each other. His Damaged NCL is out 19 his Clean one is at 15 with 4 Overloaded Photons I would guess. Both fleets moving slow 11-16 and closing. This will probably be the decisive round for us.
Note: The scouts on both sides have played to each others ire but keeping them back has kept them mostly safe. He uses his to break my Drone locks and I use mine to keep up the ECM on the cruisers.
So after this just one battle to go this round: KenG vs Sumo at OZ_037 - Resource Planet.

Note: D6D only has 37 power and am currently down 1 warp. He got a shot through a lowered shield as I had to toss out a Tbomb vs 12 drones. ~

Initial ecm 6/0 given to Visby,Anzio and the D6D..sliping forward on each others #1. Val(all 3 ships tight pattern spd16) went and fired at Agincourt(spd 14)r14 #1 50%-no ecm=hit drn freshly repaired, 2PH1's, few power. Val turned away. I droped Visby to 3ecm, and brought up 3eccm, changing the +2 to +1.
Visby attack spd 26, 4outa6 drones distracted, ADD officer fired on the spot 1outa4, dropped one mine=2 drns eliminated, several Phas got rid of rest.
...i give thanks to the gods for the auto roller last night...was simple luck with a +1 due to ecm and r5 that 2OLx16 and 2reg Phots hit 2 separate targets. Hit Anzio #3 at 50% with 6 Phas1 2Phot 8/16= . Hit Khavish 2Phots 8/16 #3 100%=1Disr 3 Batt
Visby made the hit, and a full circle around and back.
Val took his fleet around the Huge Star and now we are looking at each other again r21Visby, r31Agincourt.
Gorilla r24, facing away, traced the dead Conscensous, Val fired Phas to create an explosion-still 2 excess.
Etzel is 96% gone, on the last hex line.
Conscencous now 99% gone 20 away from map edge.
I have recycled 4 SP's and relaunched 2 as admin, 4 shuttle fighter squad out near Agincourt.
Val repair 2 Disr, has 6 total, but the Anzio is now uncontroled, only 1 security left.
Thinking Sunday later evening to continue start turn 9!!!

Turn 9:
The Anzio was uncontrolled so I parked her next to the gas giant an waited for my one shot. Moved the NCM Khavish +6 ECM and D6D forward at spd 12.
Sumo's forces were moere scattered and he had to bring the Agincourt around but her forward shield was down. The Visby +6ECM was loaded with Photons an cam at us at spd 24. I dropped the drouge an fired drones an he fired his phasers and photons for 19 pts at the D6D before breaking off at rng 11. I waited till late in the turn an fired 6 dis and 4 phasers at the Agincourt's downed forward shield an got 12 hits killing her phasers but leaving 3 photons.
EOT restored a P1 to both my NCM and D7 now working on control.
In the future I will be removing the F5's "tin ducks" from the fleet they are almost useless with paper shields. Tholian DD's may fill this role with better shields and longer dis range.

Next round Tuesday night it looks like.

Sumo vs Val
We slipped another turn in last night and will try for another tonight.
Well Bneus the Agincourt is no longer among the stars. I managed to get the Khavish close to her with 10 ecm. He fired photons at the Senjo while she was sending another 6 drones at him. Her last 2 drones got through the down #5 and causing 48 damage. The forward shield is now at 2 pts, but has her rear shield facing the enemy.
He has the Scout and one CL left but she is unscathed and heading at us with photons armed. I left my D7 moving spd 1 next to the gas giant with 3 dis and a P1. The Khavish is running from him but all the sheilds have damage but the forward. She has 7 p1's and 3 dis so my forces are split.
