I was kinda shocked at that also. I had heard through the rumor mill that Geek was going Romulan but not even on his list.
However ECF had all the plasma races just to make sure he got some.
However Bneus they all wanted your Hydrans.

I had no idea of what your fourth race was so had to goto Ken for an explanation. The only thing in my mind was a strange race from Stargate but that turned out to be the Ori and not the Oromigahd.

You may find that the plasma has some new respect with the Sabot upgrade moving it at speed 40. The maps are hexagonal arenas 81 hexes in diameter, filled with interesting terrain and artifacts.

CL #19, so it's official!

It was something that slipped through. A weapon that did 1 damage, per impulse. With no limit on the number of impulses it could fire continuously. Including over turns.

The CA had 3. Up to 96 damage per turn. At range 30. What base can stand up to that kind of firepower? Excluding Rom. For this setup, even the Tholians would say 'bye-bye' pretty quickly.

Yeah, speed 40 plasma is nice. Ken feels the slug-like speed of the WE offsets the detail it's a 100 BPV R-Torp dispenser! (103 with Sabot).
Of course, there's always the KE!

Hello fellow players and campaign overlords,

I have four questions at this point:
1. When do secondary races have to be submitted?
2. When will the map be released?
3. When will fleets have to be submitted?
4. At what point and where will the rule modifications become available?

Additionally, as of this date, my goals are:
1. To learn and fully comprehend the basic rules of the campaign.
2. To understand the client fully. (I am working on this by participating in NK and the FFaC tourney..These enjoyable activities have allowed me to understand the operating system and reacqaint me with the many rules of the game, many of which I have misinterpretated, forgotten or was generally ignorant of).
3. To conduct multiple ships battle in an SFBOL setting (I believe working on goal 2 helps me to achieve this and I also believe these may occur in the campaign at some time).

Considering the limited time available (start time Jan) and the reality that I do not have an infinite amount of time on-line due to real-life obligations as well as goal 2 above, my only interest from this point on are twofold (besides my initial 4 questions):
1. Rule questions and clarifications that I may have
2. Anyone interested in conducting multiple ship engagements in order to practice the client, as well as handling multiple units and the rules of our campaign.

All other activity outside of this pertaining to this unnamed fleet will not be considered at this point. I apologize for this terse message but in order for me to be a challenging and entertaining opponent, I need to achieve these goals. If this is a problem, I should be named to an alt in the campaign. Anyone interested in conducting multiple unit fleet battles under the rules of the game for practice and education, please contact me.

For now it is a place to post Teemo, I doubt the other member of Dbom are upset about it. And they have useful comments on things.

Q 1. I haven't set a date on that yet, you have some time as we are working on the map still.
Q 2. Ken has sent me the start map for Dbom, but I need to talk with him about it. This may take a week to iron out the details, please be patient.
Q 3. Fleet submissions are in December sometime so you have a few weeks still.
Q 4. The rule questions I can't answer tonight, I am looking to read an discuss them before posting.

The game is moving forward, but as you know life slows down our fun. Things are being worked on for balance and updates will be posted.

If you have a pressing question, feel free to ask it on here for all to see.

Or anyone else thats interested in a bit more experience with our ships. I suggest you practice before you make final decisions on secondary race and ships. Make sure you enjoy playing the pieces you take.

Perhaps the biggest goal should be to have fun, please the masters, and get the the fracking center of the Arena.

Oh and did i mention Carnage, there will be carnage. So pick ships you can carnage with.

Well ive tried to manage my time to have more to spend to this site, but im finding less and less time.
Also I have no credit cards, hence cant find a way to pay for my subscription OR the money put aside for fun play , but rare sfb play. A friend used to do it, but i dont see him as much .

So im leaving this campaign for good this time, anyone who wants a strong empire Hydran\Peladine is awesome IMO, and has a good gray player ally(not sure he would stay allied if a new player gets in..but its in his best interest IMO)

I will still look at this site for time to time, its really fun reading you guys.

Anyone who takes my empre send me your e-mail and i will send ya ll the files on my Hype empire.

Teemo and ECF I would like to talk to you both about our saturday practice. Maybe we can set up today, then start tomorrow faster.

Im open to ideas on the kind of battle you would like to play, also I can be the defender and you and ECF can practice together. Next week we should switch.

Open space is ok with me but you both talked about a base assault. That sounds fun to me but please no Starbase. I would like to finish before January if possible.

So start picking out fleets under 700, then we can discuss my defense budget.

Also we need to set up a time on saturday that will work for us all. Anyway lets talk, we have only 5 saturdays before the game starts lets try to make the most of them.

We can try the more exotic terrain later, I would like to try the Black hole map. I have never tried it and think it could be fun.
