Oh Sumo bummer.
Not sure if its possible but a 3 month SFB subscription is only 15 dollars. I say giving Val something to shoot at now with his real life situation would be worth 15 to me. lol
Only question is i don't think i know how or if you can renew somebody elses subscription.
And I could always use an experienced Fed admiral, 
I hope somehow we can make a little miracle happen it is christmas after all, anything's possible.
Hmm well if it is possible im willing to get you a three month subscription. To help keep the campaign clipping along. Besides I was really following that BATS battle, want to see how it ends. And we Feds have to stick together.
If you can figure out a way let me know, and I will "make it so". lol
Good luck, try talking to andromedan. I cant imagine he cares where the money comes from for a renewal. No need to repay me, ill probably get good photon carma from the good deed.

I sent Glenn/Sumo an email since I am not sure if he is looking at the board but haven't got any response as of yet.

Is there anything I can do to help?
Sadly if we cant contact sumo, through the Email he may have some sort of real life crisis, or a buisy holidays lets hope. I have probably done all that any of us can he has a Gift Certificate waiting. I do hope he uses it.
Although if you had other contact info than email, that might be worth a try. Maybe Ken could give him a call, or anyone send him a card saying check your email.
Unfortunatly we need to start recruiting some alternates, neither campaign has one now, there are a few interested i know. Maybe he just needs a little more time.
Fortunately, I have a phone number and mailing address for him.
Oh cool, then if you should talk to sumo let him know i bought him a 3 month membership renewal, should be in his email now.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.
I'm sorry to hear of James's work situation and hope the new position starts soon and is rewarding.
I understand sumo is MIA and hope a connection is made soon. Kudos to Josh for the Gift Subscription idea and hope it works out.
I plan to keep Saturday evenings free for more "Weight Training" in preparation for TAoC and try to play some NK matches on weeknights.
Looking forward to a Box of Goodies from ADB but with shipping and boarder crossings may have to bide my time for a few more weeks.
I will keep a close eye on this page to see when maps, build lists, and other announcements are made.

I have just posted my resignation from TAoC.
If sumo comes back he will control the Fed Budavai. If this has been offered to several people, ill take my chances and apply even if i cant go back except as an alt.
I have been practicing this format of battle for awhile with my TAoC friends. I have many hours a day to play if needed, and am willing to put in extra time to learn the secondary. I have the rules for them and the MRB. I have been preparing as a main race fed in the other campaign. I have even talked to sumo about the Fed and we shared many ideas, i think i can do this.
I know only one of sumo's neighbor's Valonqar, but i know him well. Also Tugger seems to be coming sumo's way, and im aquainted there also. Look forward to meeting you, in peace or combat, however it plays out. We must have our carnage.
Perhaps the leader Sumo was deposed suddently, is in hiding, another player race is giving him sanctuary. So there would be a change in leadership maybe new negotiations, if thats the right word.
If im selected be aware i have not been briefed on Sumo's diplomacy, and im from a different faction of Feds. So ill play like it was my race, one i just stole. But times are troubled in the Fed Budavia area, so sumo could depose me at any time. So i guess i better offer short term promises with results, if i want credibility as a long term leader. Thats a bit of a disadvantage, but im sure someone will be interested in diplomacy. Who does't need Fed cannon fodder to soften up a hard target.

We seek parley in OZ_019. I will consider the situation carfully in the next week or so while i see if the old leader returns.
Without being too specific, I offer a compromise on OZ_019 favorable to the KITH, thus honor you for your bravery great leader. This will depend on trust on our parts, I will deliver on the promises i make you Lord Valonqar. Im willing to give up OZ_019 willingly if you agree to the terms of the treaty i propose or you can make me a proposal.
Well i hope i make it into DBoM, also hope sumo is well, and that i do ok with his race when he is gone.
The disengagement of the fleet is my only wish, what would that take? Or has your dealings with sumo forever made you crqave Fed and Budavai carnage.

FYI Barry is stopping by Rob's house on the 3rd for some FtF. I asked him to check on Rob and let him know somebody gifted him a quarter and how he wanted to proceed.
Hopefully by the 9th we have an answer one way or the other, either from Rob himself or via Barry.
